War means killing, not just soldiers but innocent people as well. It is hateful and uncivilized but seems the core of our Human Race. Perhaps one day we will evolve but until then we will continue to do what we do.

Perhaps we can take from a ScFi episode and all be given a number and allow a computer to randomly select people to die and off you go to the disintegration chamber as a casualty of war.

Which sounds more humane?
