Memorial Day
Amazing and brought tears to my eyes and a perfect representation and a true story of those that gave their lives for our continued freedom, realities of this, and especially how fighting wars in other countries always hits home.
Remember those that have fought, served, and gave their lives for our continued freedom. The United States of America are freedom gatekeepers and the best representation ever of democracy that ALL should be free. War is not pretty, not saying it is right, but please remember those that have lost their lives or gave much of themselves to support the believe that ALL should be free.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. The holiday, which is observed every year on the last Monday of May. Take a moment to reflect, thank a soldier, and be thankful for those that have served. I know I am, always proud of my Dad, and glad he was able to make it home.

Entitlement Crowd
You can’t tell me there isn’t some truth to this. Would be good to see the actual statistics on how often this is done so we can truly see the burden to the taxpayer. We always have abuses on social systems but when the abuse is higher than the benefit intended for truly deserving then we have a problem.

How to get $75K for you and your girlfriend. Now I understand what is happening to this country. Follow these easy, proven, 13 steps to financial well being.
1. Don’t get married to her.
2. Use your mom’s address to get mail sent to you.
3. Guy, buys a house.
4. Guy rents out house to his girl girlfriend who has 2 of his kids.
5. Section 8 will pay $900 a month for a 3 bedroom home.
6. Girlfriend signs up for Obamacare so guy doesn’t have to pay for family insurance. This was built into Obamacare.
7. Girlfriend gets to go to college free for being a single mother.
8. Girlfriend gets $600 a month for food stamps
9. Girlfriend gets free cell phone.
10. Girlfriend get free utilities.
11. Guy moves into home but still uses moms house to get mail sent to him.
12. Girlfriend claims one kid and guy claims one kid on taxes. Now you both get to claim head of household at $1800 credit.
13. Girlfriend gets disability for being “crazy” or having a “bad back” at $1800 a month and never has to work again.
Yep, this is true. Check it out. This plan is perfectly legal and is being executed now by millions of people. A married couple with a stay at home mom yields $0.00 dollars.
An unmarried couple with stay at home mom nets: $21,600 disability + $10,800 free housing + $6,000 free Obamacare + $6,000 free food + $4,800 free utilities + $6,000 Pell grant money to spend + $12,000 a year in college tuition free from Pell grant + $8,800 tax benefit for being a single mother = $75,000 a year in benefits.
[Abusers of the system] are well aware of how to milk the cow. They are on their 3rd generation of this scam and you wonder why the country is 18 trillion in debt?
Your children will pay the price.
Notice that “food pantry” wasn’t included. They get that too.

05/17/15/10:00 AM/Complaints from 3 neighbors about generator running at night on front porch. Happened to speak with person staying there on Friday, 05/15/15, who advises will be fixing up to move in. I mentioned the noise of generator and he assured me that he doesn’t run it past 10 PM. I mentioned that it is code violation to live in dwelling with utilities. He seemed amicable.

Police also commented on trash items in back that was a code violation. Police also commented on expired tags on vehicles on the property driveway of 97 N Chase Ave as well as dead tries and debris. A neighbor will be calling on that.
05/17/15/19:13/Sunday/Columbus311/Submitted: OCCUPIED DWELLING IN DISREPAIR: New occupants of burnt building vacant for 2 years states not living at dwelling but is. Runs generator to power house not on electrical grid after 10 pm at night. Police has been called asking occupant to turn off. Community leader advised of three complaints & occupant states does not run after 10PM at night but was running on 05/17/15/12:34 AM. Called the neighbor that called the police a “honky”. Requesting that generator not run after 10 PM, & not to live in dwelling without utilities.

05/17/15/19:26/Columbus 311: Submitted: DEMOLITION OR CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY: Construction debris mattresses laying in pile by house that was burnt & remained vacant for 2 years. Appears that house is being worked on but debris is not in a construction receptacle which poses risk to children as property is not fenced in. Also concern for bedbugs/animals. Complaint already filed regarding occupants living in dwelling without utilities and running a generator after 10pm at night which has caused alarm for three neighbors. Also illegal dumping by 300 gallon receptacles

05/17/15/19:32/Columbus 311: Submitted: ILLEGAL DUMPING OF TRASH: Burnt property vacant for two years. Occupants that are now in there living without utilities has been cleaning out duplex and piling debris on property as well as dumping bulk items next to 300 gallon receptacles posing a threat to children of unsafe burnt items next to trash containers as well as on property. Already filed construction/demolition debris not property being disposed of on property.

Tie length
So I have old and new ties, some dating back over 30 years. I swear ties are getting shorter but then I realize that ties aren’t getting shorter, my stomach is protruding further outward thusly less tie material to cover over my stomach. SIGH. LOL.

Photos can no longer drag into faceBook
Photos can no longer drag into faceBook
The new Photo for Mac doesn’t allow you to drag photos from the application into FaceBook posts or cover photo like you used to under iPhoto. This was always an awesome feature especially on the Mac.
This is my workaround.
1. Open Finder
2. Create a Folder called Media (I created it under Desktop since I don’t intend to archive files here)
3. Once created drag to your Favorites panel
4. From Photo drag your photo to upload to your Media folder
5. From Finder/Media Folder drag the file to FaceBook post or to your Page Cover Photo (I change my Cover photo frequently)
6. Once uploaded you can delete the item from the Media Folder as this is just a transfer folder and not an archive folder.
Yes, I know I can just do an upload from FaceBook but you would have to have moved the file from Photo to your directory anyway and then have to locate it.
If you have a better way, please share. It’s frustrating when changes such as this are made.
